about

Sometimes things don't work out the way you plan them to. But that doesn't always mean you're not on the right path. Home, to me is an overall sense of belonging. It doesn't have to be a place or a physical house...just an overall state of mind that you're right where you feel comfortable, like you belong there. Even during some of the messiest situations it's good to know you're where you need to be.

lyrics

I walked out of that stadium smiling
After the meeting with the faceless crowd
That autumn night was as bright as daylight shining
The moonlight is the best thing to guide you around

But it don't bother me
Watching the sunset without you
It don't bother me going back alone
It don't bother me, I'm as happy as can be
Just because I know I'm going home

And yes I know that I may be guilty
But you know that your hands, they ain't so clean
But to this day I believe that mountain sunrise
Was the most beautiful thing I ever seen

I walked out of that stadium smiling
After the meeting with the faceless crowd
This was probably the darkest time of your life
Because you didn't have the moonlight to guide you around
